NISSAN

Nissan Green Program
The core objectives of the Nissan Green Program 2010 mid-term environmental plan are: reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions; minimizing emissions to preserve the atmosphere, water and soil; and the recycling of resources (reduce/reuse/recycle).
Nissan is developing a wide range of green technologies from bio-fuel engines, hybrids, fuel cell vehicles to electric vehicles.
The Nissan Green Program 2010 is focused on reducing CO2 emissions both from our products as well as from day-to-day corporate activities. This commitment to reduce CO2 permeates across all areas of Nissan's operations and corporate endeavors, from the manufacturing process to our suppliers and business partners.
Enriching People’s Lives
Nissan aims to achieve sustainable and profitable growth. At the same time, we desire to make enduring contributions to society as a valued and trusted corporate citizen.
Guided by Nissan's corporate vision of "enriching people's lives", our corporate citizenship initiatives are focused on three core areas: supporting education, taking care of the environment, and providing humanitarian relief. We are actively engaged within the local communities where we operate through localized programs such as “Nissan Monozukuri Caravan”, environmental classes at elementary schools and “Nissan Children’s Storybook and Picture Book Grand Prix”.
